2D RPG Video Game in Unity C#

A 2D role-playing game and local multiplayer platformer made in Unity, co-developed with Matthew Atagi on behalf of Science Venture as an educational resource for teaching game development.

I encountered issues while scripting player interaction systems, specifically when playtesting the local multiplayer scene in Turkey Time!. I discovered that the collected items disappeared from the inventory after teleporting back to the main scene. This bug prevented the game from ending because the items, once collected, don’t respawn. As a workaround, I set a sign with a collider in front of the level’s entrance to prevent passage. When interacted with, the sign instructs players to collect all the items before entering, and doesn’t unlock until all the ingredients are collected.
